Rwanda is a small, tropical land-locked country on the eastern rim of the Albertine Rift Valley, which is part of the Great Rift Valley. Rwanda is often referred to as ‘Land of a Thousand Hills’. Game drives on the Savannas of Akagera National Park (Parc National de l’Akagera). Wildlife in the park includes Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Leopards, Giraffes, Zebras, Hyenas, Warthogs, Baboons, Hippos, Crocodiles, and many others.

Birdwatching with up to 800 bird species. It is possible for a birder to see up to 400 bird species in one trip.
